Instax

Last November I finally gave into buying a Fujifilm Instax camera because online shopping has been so convenient and tempting huhuhu. (I wasn't a believer of online shopping but after my recent purchases, I realized things lol)

Only recently have I been able to actually use it because the film took a while to arrive. @_@ Im so happy with it though! I got this as a gift for myself haha. The film is a bit pricey but I think it's worth it! Also, I was able to get a hold of the rainbow film which is hard to come by so YAY! <3 Im using the classic white ones for now and they're cool too

Some of the photos Ive taken.. I cant seem to find the others.. :| Dont forget to get yourself something this Christmas!  :)

Candy polish!

Im finally baaaaack! The past few weeks have been sooo busy acads-wise and just work in general.. so I haven't really had enough freetime to post anything.. that and probably also not having any idea what to post. :\

Anywhooooo, today I went to 168 with my mom to buy a Christmas costume for something (lol) and I came across these yummy nail polish colors! If you haven't seen my very first post, where I also posted something about nail polish, I'm not at all brand conscious when it comes to nail polish because I change polish very frequently so it doesn't really matter to me if they chip easy (not saying that cheap ones do.. I honestly don't see a difference). This is I think a generic nail polish brand because it just says 'LM nail polish' haha. They're so pretty and so cheap! I will forever be a cheapskate! Also, from years and years of buying nail polish, I learned that if you love the color, BUY IT! Especially when the colors are hard to find, totes worth the envy of people who can't find the same colors hehe

So which color do you like the most? :) I don't really know which one to use first yet but we'll see hihi. Hope everyone's enjoying their break because apparently I can't yet! :( Happy holidays! :D

Christmas wishlist 2012!

Okay so I just came from Cyouth fellowship (youth fellowship I attend every Saturday-come join us! hihi) and it's kind of ironic how I'm about to post my Christmas wishlist when just a while ago we talked about being content........ :| It's not that I learned nothing from the message.. I figured since it's the 1st of December I'd post something Christmas-related haha (excuses) ANYWAYYY I just wanted to share this information (in case you'd want to give me these for Christmas) ;> These are just some stuff on the top of my head... I do hope some people get  me these!

1. Pink flats!
Preferably shiny ROUND hot pink ones or whatever pink this is..

2. Instax mini rainbow film!
these are sooo difficult to come by and they're a tad more expensive than the plain white ones but they're so cuuute! I don't mind getting the white ones tho, classic!

3. Chunky watches
For a while now I've been eyeing this big black gshock watch with the gold accent.. And I have been lusting over big chunky classic gold watches too like this

5. iPhone cases in pastel or candy colors (plain)
I have seriously gotten over my iphone case obsession but then again I wouldn't mind receiving these cute plain ones. I've been obsessed with the cute designs for the longest time and since recently I was able to buy cute earcaps/pluggies for my phone, I realized they look cuter with plain cases like theese

6. Cute puffy/embossed stickers
I cant really find decent pictures of those cute embossed stickers but I live for these things! My friends would know how much I love stickers and how I pimp out my stuff/gadgets with these

7. Babydoll blouses
For some reason (probably my body type) I look good (well i think i do/most people agree) in these things.. anything that's cut at the bottom of the bust area would look cute on me

8. Peplum blouses (in all plain colors esp nude)
K so I noticed lately these peplum blouses (even skirts) are everywhere. I'm not one who usually follows trends but this type of clothing (what) haha works well for my body type, I guess so I liiike

9. A cute and decent daily planner
Since the year is nearing its end, so is my planner.. lol obviously. I just want a plain, nicely bound leatherette covered planner (SO CHOOSY HAHA) I prefer a daily planner, because I like the space, and also something without too many lines

10. Contacts!
A while back I had this exploring-contact-lenses phase where I bought different colored contacts lol (so jej, i know hahaha) I even went for those circle lenses.. Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not judging people who wear circle lenses, it's just that I realized it's not something I'd go for anymore. ANYWHO, I recently discovered a pair that I haven't used yet and have actually missed wearing them because of how I look with them. Make up definitely stands out more with lenses on, (IDK maybe its just me) I like these Freshlook ones (the ones I have now) because their lenses have small diameters (more natural looking) and their colors look more natural.. so much redundancy lol. From all the colored contacts I've used in the past, I've found out that Brown, Green, and Gray look best on me #justsayin

11. Baseball caps // don't judge me for being jejemon or jologs just yet...
Recently I've noticed my hair has been extra poofy (more poofy than it usually is) because if you don't know, I naturally have wavy hair and I have to blowdry or iron my hair to make it look the way it usually does.. But I have naturally poofy hair and usually a cap solves this problem (because it flattens the hair lol) but I found out that I actually like how it looks on me. And since lately I've been so lazy to dressup, I figured I'd go for this baller, laid back look with a cap and just a plain shirt and jeans haha just tryin it out yo! lolz

not necessarily like these but i like plain ones with a rounded head haha i cant believe im posting this hahaha
12. Book by Ramon Bautista: "Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo?" (Why your crush doesn't have a crush on you)
HMM K so before you judge me.. I just really want this for the lulz.. I quite enjoy watching TFTFZ (Tales From the Friend Zone) because I think those things really happen in real life.. and I dont know, I just find him really funny :)) Just look at that book cover, i hate it so much I wanna buy it! haha and it even comes with an extra jeje notebook that says "study hard!" lol If I remember right this book only costs P160. Not bad for a good laugh I should say hehe
Well that's about it i guess.. some stuff from my mental Christmas wishlist! Don't forget to get yourself something special this Christmas.. but more importantly, don't forget your friends! (LIKE ME!:>)  This IS  the season of giving anyway :) OH EM it's officially December! the month of endless Christmas parties (pigging out) and family/friends-bonding time, I'm hoping! Have fun!

Cheese and Wine

A couple of weekends ago, we had a reunion with our Eurotrip friends in Tali beach, Batangas! There were a lot of us on tour, I think more than 50 but unfortunately not everyone can be contacted since some are in Davao etc. Here are some of our tourmates... not everyone..

We had wine and cheese beside the sea on this clifflike part of the beach. Didn't think I'd enjoy wine and cheese and nuts and all this fancy stuff (being that usually old people catch up over something like this) but I actually quite enjoyed this... A LOT. ANDDDD of course the company, I should say, is the best. I learned so many insights, from our friends from the tour because they're so successful in their own careers yet so incredibly humble.

One of the things I loved that Tita Darlene (now my tita hahaha), brought from their house are these plastic lights that are rechargeable and you could just bring everywhere! They're light and you can actually sit on them.. and they'd float if you put them on water.. Imagine how pretty they'd look on a swimming pool at night *u*

Beautiful house! I have so much more photos but this post would be too long. The kitchen at night! Sorry for lighting :|

View from the poolside couch thingyyy

After dinner, we had karaoke and then spent the night here. I definitely think there'd be more of our reunions like this.. well at least I hope so!

Forget Me Not Specialty Cakes

Today after church, we ate at Forque just along Arnaiz avenue in Makati (very near our church) because we figured it we should try something new.. anyway, after that we went to this small but cute pastry shop beside the restaurant. Their logo though.. kind of makes the place look cheap but I heard a lot of local celebs order cakes from here..

My mom ordered that Dulce de leche cake (which tasted nothing like dulce de leche for me hahahaha it tasted like a cheesecake) and i ordered that brownie of some sort. It was good because it was so chewwy and chocolatey.. well I shouldn't trust me so much with pastries because anything sweet can honestly taste good to me so I don't know if my opinion counts...

I think the reason why I think I like this place is because it's so quiet! The place is kind of out of the way so I guess that's why a lot of people don't know about the place.. You'd have to go really to that place to eat there. I think their shop is really cute and well lit which I like (because it is potentially a good place to work on stuff) They don't have much pastries though, since they're more on party orders and stuff, but I think this would be a nice and quaint place to have coffee and cake with a friend or something.. nice and quiet place to talk and catch up (that kind of thing).

The whole left side of the wall was a mirror though, forgive meee. #ootd

If you wanna visit.. here's a map for ya'll

Peripera's Loving My Lip and Eye Remover Review

As you may have seen from my recent posts, I went to Korea over the sembreak... and if you guys aren't into make up or anything and don't know,  Korea is practically cosmetics heaven *u* In the last couple of years here in the Philippines, there have been a lot of Korean brands that have been taking over the teen cosmetics market by storm because of their super cute and adorbs packaging like The Face Shop, Etude House, Beauty Credit, Skin Food, etc. For me they're relatively cheaper compared to European/American cosmetics and they work fine since my skin isn't that sensitive anyway. When we went to korea though, it was so much more cheaper there.. so being the panic buyer that I am, you could say I bought a loooot. :| Anyway, here's one of the things I got there: Peripera's Loving My Lip and Eye Remover

Thing I noticed with Korean branding is how they phrase things.. Don't fret because this make up remover doesn't really remove your eyes and lips.. :)) I have a nail polish remover that's also korean and it says 'nail remover' haha sounds painful ANYWAYYY

Pros:
  • not oily/greasy
  • more hygienic packaging than cold creams
  • takes away almost all eye make up with just one swipe of cotton
  • good with waterproof mascara/eyeliner
  • smells so yummy! like grapfruit or something :3
Cons:
  • It's not available in the Phils :<
  • nothing really lol

Korea Day 1 Part 2

So here's Korea Day 1 Part 2 :) We went to the Buddhist player place and there was actually a small palace there.. I forgot to include a picture lol.. Then we rode a cable car up to the peak of the mountain where it was hella cold :| Reminded me of the Swiss Alps in Titlis BRRR

Teddy Bear Museum! Just 2 of the many pictures I took.. everything was so adorable:3 *cue Princess Hours theme* hihi

Trainstation!

Our Korean tourguide/photographer asked me to sit there... of course i was scared shitless because the train warning thing blew off soon after @_@

Sheep feeding!! and of course Koreans make everything cute -___-"

Lastly, Ginseng.. that root is 5 years old.. another more year before it's harvested.. Never knew it took 6 years to grow a perfect human-shaped ginseng root.. no wonder it's so expensive :|
